Hawkeye is delighted not to be removing shrapnel or metal from Pvt. Paul Conway (Ed Begley, Jr.) who fell into a foxhole on top of one of his buddies. He is a klutz, always causing accidents on the line. Radar is in Tokyo on R&R and Klinger is scrambling to do Radar's job. The CO is cranky because Klinger cannot locate Mildred anywhere in Missouri.
